Sage

Sage has soft, velvety grey-green leaves with a warm, slightly peppery flavour.

How to use: Brown butter sage pasta, roasted pumpkin and potatoes, stuffing, soups and grilled dishes.

Good to know: Gives a cosy, earthy flavour to winter dishes.

How to store: Wrap in a slightly damp tissue or kitchen towel, put in a closed box and keep in the fridge. Stays fresh for 5–7 days.
