Red romaine has long, crunchy leaves with red tips and a mild, fresh taste.

How to use: Caesar salad, mixed salads, burgers, wraps and sandwiches.

Good to know: Crunch and colour together.

How to store: Wrap the leaves in a dry kitchen towel or tissue, put them in a closed box or zip bag and keep in the fridge. Wash only when you are ready to eat. Best used within 4–5 days.
