Romaine has long, sturdy leaves with a crunchy centre and a fresh, slightly sweet taste.

How to use: Caesar salad, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and grilled romaine.

Good to know: Crunchy and holds up well to dressings.

How to store: Wrap the leaves in a dry kitchen towel or tissue, put them in a closed box or zip bag and keep in the fridge. Wash only when you are ready to eat. Best used within 4–5 days.
