Frisée (curly endive) has fine, curly leaves and a pleasant, slightly bitter flavour.

How to use: Mix with other lettuces in salads, use with warm dressings, or as an elegant garnish.

Good to know: Adds texture and a gourmet touch to salads.

How to store: Wrap the leaves in a dry kitchen towel or tissue, put them in a closed box or zip bag and keep in the fridge. Wash only when you are ready to eat. Best used within 4–5 days.
