Brussels sprouts look like tiny cabbages. When roasted or sautéed, they become golden, slightly sweet and nutty.

How to use: Cut in half and roast or pan-fry with garlic, butter, salt and pepper. Also nice in stir-fries, pasta and mixed vegetable sabzi.

Good to know: A good source of vitamin C, vitamin K and fibre.

How to store: Keep in the fridge in a paper bag. Stays fresh for up to a week.
